Rebelde, de Toro y hecho a mano 100%. BIGARDO es la opera prima del joven enólogo toresano Kiko Calvo. Este vino experimental ha sido elaborado 100% artesanalmente: desde la vendimia hasta el etiquetado, aunando innovación y tradición.En la región vinícola de Toro (España), la expresión BIGARDO se utiliza para hacer referencia a un joven rebelde, que no hace caso a nadie. Bajo esta premisa surge el concepto de la etiqueta. Una fotografía de la mano del propio enólogo haciendo el símbolo de los cuernos, gesto rebelde por excelencia y con una clara alusión también al origen del vino, por su analogía con la cornamenta del animal que le da nombre. Cada botella está numerada a mano, con el nombre marcado con un tampón. El collarín está realizado con un troquel que imita el gesto que sirve de concepto central al vino, lo que le da un toque de originalidad. El resultado es un diseño transgresor, limpio, llamativo y elegante, como el vino que contiene.

Rebel, from Toro and 100% handmade. BIGARDO is the first work of Kiko Calvo, a young wine expert from Toro (Zamora). This experimental wine has been made in a 100% artisanal way: from the harvest to the tagging/labelling, joining innovation and tradition.In the wine area of Toro, this expression is used to describe a young rebel person, who doesn’t care about what other people think and does things on his own way. The concept in the label emerges under this premise. A picture of the oenologist’s hand, performing the sign of the horns, a hand gesture that means rebelliousness and refers to the place where this wine is made, because of its analogy to the horns of the animal that gives its name to the town. Each bottle is numbered manually, and the name is printed with an ink pad. The collar is made with a die cut, imitating the sign of the horns in a touch of originality.The outcome is a very transgressive and clean design, elegant and remarkable, and so is the wine inside the bottle.
